Week 12

Man- I laid out a pretty good plan for this year of not sticking to a template and being able to just post more random stuff.  But then I backed myself into a template again and things got busy at work so writing a fantasy football newsletter just kept getting pushed further down my priority list.  Anyway- I’m completely off the format now so I’m going to move forward with just random twice-weekly hits. 

We’re creeping up on the playoffs so I could go through the different scenarios of who needs to do what to get in OR I could rank each of us based on how long we’d survive a Zombie apocalypse.  Besides, Clancy’s already in, everyone else is in the middle of the pack, and as usual Ryan/Biz, Jay and Wylie will be fighting for the last spot.  Let’s talk zombies!

Week 2

Holy shit, I haven’t seen this many blowouts since my last trip to Jersey Shore!*  The closest game this week was between the Corporation and NY Bailout and even that nail-biter was decided by 18 points.  On the other side Kurt managed to weather the Jamal Charles catastrophe while outscoring Labrie to the tune of 55 points.   The Powerbottoms, TighterThanDickskin, and Woodhead B. Cheating all eclipsed the century mark.  It looks like Andrew has decided to mix things up this year and implode at the beginning of the season as opposed to the playoffs.   Way to think outside the box Andrew!

Monday Night Poonball - Week 2

Are you ready for some football?  No seriously I’m asking because this week’s matchup between New York and St. Louis is about as compelling as reading facebook posts.  Oh really? You ‘like’ summertime?  What an extraordinary thing we have in common.  Lets you, me, and the 13.4 million other people who also like the summer time have a picnic by the sea!  Speaking of facebook:

THE QUEST FOR THE DOROTHY

The draft is now officially in the books and we are mere days from our ninth season of pretend football.  This is my third crack at doing a weekly newsletter for the league.  I made it all the way to Thanksgiving last year before losing steam; which to be fair was an improvement on 2009.   When I began the second year of the newsletter I had just started a new job and had a fair amount of downtime.  I kept adding new sections and eventually got to the point when things picked up at work where I had a template that I just didn't have time to fill each week.
